Event Description
Calling all foodies aged in Grades 4-7! Join us on Thursdays in the Children's Programming Room with our mobile kitchen and learn a variety of useful food and nutrition skills while preparing a different dish each week.
Registration is required and opens on December 11. Registration is for the four-week series, which will run from February 8-29 for children aged 9-12 or in Grades 4-7. Please register each child separately.
Tween Foodies will involve supervised use of knives, vegetable peelers, graters, stoves, and ovens, as well as raw ingredients like eggs and flour. The recipes used in the program will be vegetarian and nut-free, and though we do our best, we cannot guarantee a contamination-free environment. Our recipes do contain dairy, wheat, eggs, soy, sesame and coconut.
