Young Chefs

Event Description

Join us for a program that will teach young chefs new kid-friendly recipes! A Librarian and our teen Chefs in Residence will teach young participants how to make a delicious recipe. We will have fun while learning how to make great things in the kitchen together!

All ingredients and cooking tools will be provided for this free program.

Grades 3-4

Registration is required and opens on December 16.

Young Chefs will involve supervised use of knives, vegetable peelers, graters, stoves, and ovens, as well as raw ingredients like eggs and flour. The recipes used in the program will be vegetarian and nut-free, and though we do our best, we cannot guarantee a contamination-free environment. Our recipes do contain dairy, wheat, eggs, soy, sesame and coconut.
