Joel JJ Joseph is facilitating this workshop in partnership with the Grand River Black Music Festival and Conference and Festival, and Kitchener Public Library!
Joel Joseph will work with attendees who want to learn how to cross-collaborate their music genres with the mainstream music industry and their artists. The two-hour workshop will focus on the fundamentals of collaborations, navigating and acquiring collaborations, and highlighting the unique optimization of instruments produced for studio beats and artist productions.

Joel JJ Joseph has been around music from an early age, playing drums, sax, and piano. Receiving a scholarship and Graduating from the prestigious Humber College music program, JJ has worked with legendary artists, including Nelly Furtado, Serena Ryder, Snow, Kaos, Saukrates, Kardinal Official, Deborah Cox, the Weekend, and most recently, universal recording artist Ryland James. Through live performances and remixes, JJ has been instrumental in tens of millions of global album sales and industry awards. His latest releases, “LOFI VYBZ” and “ALL NIGHT,” are being licensed and steadily gaining streams. JJ has also produced tracks for JUNO winners Sean Jones, and Divine Brown.
