Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present. To pay attention to what is happening to the mind, body, and surrounding, while cultivating our sense of curiosity and self-compassion.
In this four week course we will explore both formal and informal mindfulness practices. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in seated meditations, guided body scans, and mindful movements. Weekly discussions regarding our experiences, challenges, and our insights will support our learning. Each week you will receive suggestions to help you practice between classes.
